We have an extensive variety of animals – We typically bring 10 animals to a Reptile Program and 6 to a Farm Program. up to 65 students, we also offer 2 x 45 min. programs for $275 we break up the kids in to 2 groups we use more advanced vocabulary with the older students and that way we don't loose the attention of the little guys. It's a very interactive program, for students of all ages and capabilities.
Learn how coldblooded creatures live, communicate and move about their environments. Why do Frogs sing? Why don't snakes chew their food? Learn about a wide variety of animals and get an up close experience with live animals.
Delve into the world of invertebrates learn about; life cycles, differences between Arachnids and other insects.
How do Reptiles, Amphibians and Invertebrates survive extreme habitats? What makes them unique to their environment? Find out something new about how they blend in.
Our Mini Farm Program is tailored to suit all age levels; a homestead 101 basically. We talk about what it means to be self-staining, our impact on the environment, we also touch on Organic foods and why you should care about what you eat and non-organic farming’s impact on our environment. We show examples of the items and products our animals produce ie. Milk and Eggs; some of which can be consumed or used for other purposes such as wool.
For this event bring the following animals: Mini Donkey, Mini Goat, Mini Sheep, Chicken(s), Dwarf Rabbit & Mini Pig. The talk itself is about 35 minutes per group and then we’ll bring the animals around so everyone can interact with these lovely creatures. If an animal is close to a due date or has recently given birth they may be substituted.
We setup a 10x10' galvanized pen for our Minis, we bring treats to feed and give fun facts about our animals. We are here to answer any questions you may have. 1hr 15min.
We have an extensive variety of captive animals we work with, ensuring a healthy specimen means we hold on to animals for a period of time after they are born or hatch, some as little as 60 days up to 6 months. You can inquire to be placed on our waiting list to hold your place in line.
